Travelling to far off places, having adventures and soaking in the atmosphere. It’s moments like that for us that we really get to understand what real gratitude is all about. Most of us have fortunately had the opportunity to vacation in tropical places, where the stress of life just seems to melt away. Warm sun, clean, clear ocean and everything works on ‘island time’. 

The Island Vibe Swimwear message is about replicating those island vibes no matter where you are! Its about taking the simple, everyday things and looking at them differently.

We work with designers and their manufacturers from all over the world to bring you our curated collections of swimwear for one reason. Choice! Every campaign we design is based around inspiration, whether it be inspiration from times gone by, the seed of an idea, a place, a song, a color or a certain ‘vibe’. Imagining the 60’s as a flower power love child or girlfriend to Jimmy Hendrix, our wish for you is that it inspires a feeling for you and a fresh way to look at the fashion of swimwear. We have so many muses that inspire us. From iconic women from the past to modern day muses, our list keeps growing. 

Fashion is cyclical and the same applies to swimwear. Those retro styles eventually come full circle. What’s on trend one season and seems to be everywhere can’t be found the following season. Eventually it gets reinvented - the bikini and the one piece evolves as the designers inject the inspiration and parts of their personality into the designs taking inspiration from the past trends and history.

We’ve worked with many brands over the years and know first hand the standard inspirational message that gets fed to women. Be fabulous, be fierce and confident whilst at the same time being fun and feminine. Basically be everything. We just want you to be you and hopefully we can pass on some of those island vibes and inspiration to you!

We run Island Vibe Swimwear with our own tribe from California and are proud to offer worldwide shipping to you. Running Island Vibe Swimwear keeps us very busy but we still travel as when we can to places we’ve never been to see things we’ve never seen.
